'Anokha' means unique and our goal is to bring you an enhanced online learning experience you will remember, enjoy and return to. Located in Ballina in County Mayo, Ireland, we deliver our eLearning programmes globally.

Anokha Learning was originally established in 2016 by former colleagues Cyril Crowe and Fiona Quinn. Following a short break, the company returned in 2025 under new management. It is now led by Aoife Breslin and Michael Coughlan, both experienced primary school teachers based in County Mayo. Together, Aoife and Michael bring extensive experience in continuing professional development, with particular expertise in special education, pupil and teacher wellbeing. Our shared passion for inclusive education is at the heart of Anokha Learning's renewed mission to support and empower teachers across Ireland and beyond.

Approved by the Department of Education and Skills, we launched our first suite of Online Summer CPD Courses for Primary School Teachers in 2016. Our Summer Course testimonials speak for themselves and we have been privileged to have had so many educators share positive feedback and professional practice on our system. We have recently broadened our course programme collaborating with course authors Vivianne Maloney, Counsellor & Psychotherapist and David Coleman, Clinical Psychologist.

In 2017 we contributed to the National Task Force for Youth Mental Health and the Seanad Public Consultation Committee Report on Children's Mental Health Services.  We hope that our courses make a positive difference to the lives of all of our valued participants.
