Free Resources › Children’s Wellbeing
A gentle first-week activity for infant classes, built around drawing rather than writing so every child can take part from day one.
It is free to download, there is no sign-up, and you can print it as many times as you need. Suitable for junior and senior infants.
What is inside
- Draw your family and the people at home
- Favourite things, food and colour
- A simple picture scale for how school feels so far
- Space for a name and a self-portrait
How to use it in class
Best in the first week or two of September. Sit with a few children at a time and talk through it as they draw, because what a child says while drawing usually tells you more than the finished page. Worth keeping to compare in the summer term.
