What is inside

  • Draw your family and the people at home
  • Favourite things, food and colour
  • A simple picture scale for how school feels so far
  • Space for a name and a self-portrait

How to use it in class

Best in the first week or two of September. Sit with a few children at a time and talk through it as they draw, because what a child says while drawing usually tells you more than the finished page. Worth keeping to compare in the summer term.
